Child safety standards

TryZodiac (the Zodiac app) is operated by Tanțău Ștefan-Nicolas, Strada Nicolae Iorga 31, Bucharest, Romania. TryZodiac is for adults only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

1. Adults only

• TryZodiac is only for people aged 18 and over.
• We check age from the date of birth entered at sign-up, which can't be changed in the app afterwards.
• We don't market TryZodiac to children, and the app isn't designed for them.

2. What is never allowed

• Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers children, including child sexual abuse material in photos, messages, profiles or Cosmic Wall posts.
• Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to contact, meet or obtain images of a minor.
• Accounts created by or for anyone under 18.

These rules are part of our Terms of Use (zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users).

3. How we prevent and detect it

• Every photo is checked automatically before anyone sees it: images likely to contain sexual content are rejected, and borderline ones are sent to a moderator.
• Messages, profile text and Cosmic Wall posts are checked automatically, and content that breaks the rules is hidden.
• Reports about a possible minor or about threats are treated as urgent: the reported account is hidden from everyone straight away while we review it.

4. How to report

• In the app: report any person from today's introduction, a chat, your Friends list or a Cosmic Wall post or reply, and choose "Might be under 18" or another reason. Reporting also blocks the person.
• By email: nicolas@tryzodiac.app, with "Child safety" in the subject. Please don't attach illegal images; describe where you saw the content instead.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

5. What we do

• Remove the content and permanently ban the account; a banned person can't sign up again with the same Google, Apple or email account.
• Keep the evidence securely for the investigation and for the authorities.
• Report CSAM and suspected child exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the Romanian Police and, where it applies, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and cooperate with law enforcement.

6. Compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including in the European Union and Romania, and with Google Play's and Apple's child safety requirements.
